Welcome Seth
As a recent donor to Never Quit Dreaming and one of our biggest monthly donors, we want you to know that every dollar you have donated is used to collaborate, challenge the status quo and inspire our special needs community living in Hawaii.
Additionally, we are excited to share some highlights of our recent 2024 activities, that your donation helps support. We are grateful that you have chosen to journey with us.

Crocs x nqd
Crocs Waikele has graciously opened up their store to provide our community special sensory hours. Families can shop in a less stimulated environment as they would with the “typical” community. The music in the store is turned down, and kids are allowed to run around and touch items without parents feeling the fear of feeling uncomfortable or being judged.
nqd x kualoa ranch hike (june 2024)
nqd spent a morning taking a short hike along the mountains of Kualoa Ranch. We took brief stops to listen to our guides share stories about native plants, the history of Kualoa Ranch and stories about Hawaiian mythology. We finished our hike with a quick lunch with our new found friends.
Kawaii Kon v. 2024 (April)
The Kawaii Kon graciously provides a discounted ticket for our special needs families to attend the annual Kawaii Kon. By providing a slight discount our families are able to enjoy the Kon culture. Personally, we enjoy our attendees who “cos-play”, because when they “cos-play”, its like Halloween and no one sees a disability or a diagnosis.
hawaii dance bomb (January)
Hawaii Dance Bomb provided individual headsets to our participants. The headset has three separate channels of music and participants can literally dance to the beat of their own drum. Due to your generous donation, we offered this event free to the public.
Bows buddies 2024 (February - May)
After every Sunday Home Baseball game, our UH Rainbow Baseball players remain on the field to meet and greet the “Firebirds”, the only special needs baseball team in Hawaii. This year, there were 14 seniors who have created friendships with us over the past two seasons. Exec. Director Kris Dung customized special FUNKO pop baseball figures that resembles our favorite Baseball Buddies.
CPK Pizza Day (February)
Prior to the start of our Soccer Season, a number of future soccer players had the opportunity to meet and greet one another at CPK in Pearlridge. The future Soccer stars, were given ice breaker games where they had to work on their communication skills by introducing themselves, decorate chefʻs hat for a friend, and create their own pizza.
